CEVO Season 6 Registration Opens

Another year and another season of Team Fortress 2 CEVO is about to get underway. That's right, Season 6 registration has finally opened. Season 6 features three skill divisions: Professional, Main, and Amateur. Each has different entry parameters, competitive expectations, and prizes.

The regular event membership fee for the Professional and Main Divisions is $20 USD per player. However, any player who registers by midnight CST Friday, July 23rd will receive a discounted early bird rate of only $15 USD. Players may register for Season 6 without already being on a team. Registration for CEVO Team Fortress 2 Season 6 opens on Sunday, July 11th at 7 PM CST and will remain open until Sunday, August 8th at midnight CST.

More Bad Company 2 tournament action this summer as Alienware and Samsung have announced a new Battlefield: Bad Company 2 conquest tournament. The 8v8 team tournament is slated to run from June 5th - September 12th, with free registration open to US and Candadian players through July 4th. The tournament will also feature a prize purse of $3,900.

Fragged Nation BC2 Tournament

Fragged Nation has announced that it will be holding a Bad Company 2 tournament this June for PS3 squads. Registration for the event officially kicked off today, so for more information on the event or to enter your squad, head on over to the Fragged Nation Tournament Page.

"FraggedNation is pleased to offer you and your friends a PS3 Bad Company 2, Squad Rush 4v4 Tournament, sponsored by FraggedNation itself. This will give you the opportunity to prove not only that your team is the best on the battlefield at squad rush, but to get some cash and FraggedNation Swag to back it up as well.

Players will be competing in BFBC2 Squad Rush Mode in team sizes of 4, but beware: unfair gaming and name calling won't nab you those prizes! Only skill, team work, and sheer luck will earn you any bragging rights. Even better, there is no entrance fee... Talk about Sweet!

Sign-ups begin May 31st, 2010, with the tournament launching June 13th and running through July 14th. CEVO Summer Classic Tournament

CEVO has officially announced their upcoming Summer Classic Counter-Strike 1.6 Tournament. The tournament is a double-elimination online event for gamers in the Counter-Strike 1.6 community. Registration will open on Monday, April 19th and close on Sunday, May 16th, with the first round matches beginning Thursday, May 20th. There are only limited team slots available (64) to the first teams that are fully registered, so get your team signed up quick! There is a registration fee of $5.00 per player.

TWL Bad Company 2 Season 1

TotalWarfare League has announced the launch of their Bad Company 2 Conquest Season 1. The league is 8v8, with game play kicking-off in early may and playoffs concluding in late July. Preseason begins May 2nd but sign ups are currently open and ready for you to join.

Bad Company 2 EA Cup Announced

On3Network has announced it will be holding an online Bad Company 2 tournament this month for PC players. The touranment will be an 8v8 round-robin format, with the winning team's prize pool valued at over $8000.

The winning captain is awarded an HP High Performance Elite Desktop Computer (valued at $3699), which they may choose to keep or raffle among their teammates. Each member of the winning team will take away HP 320GB Pocket Drive, a limited edition Battlefield: Bad Company 2 T-shirt and a Puma cap.

i39 Announces Bad Company 2 Division

The highly anticipated i39 Lan Event, hosted by Multiplay, has confirmed that will now be featuring a Bad Company 2 division. As of yet, it is the only major Bad Company 2 LAN event being hosted in Europe. The 4v4 rush style tournament will feature a prize pot of £2,500, with the top placing team walking away with £1,500.

Dells high-performance PC brand Alienware is hosting an online 5v5 CoD4 tournament for Aussies between March 8 and April 8.
