CEVO has officially announced that registration for its next upcoming Counter-Strike: Source Rush Tournament has kicked off. The tournament is open to the first 32 teams which signup, and once the spots have been filled, registration will be closed.
The tournament will run from February 16th 2010 through the 24th, with teams competing for over $1,500 worth of prizes! For more information on this event, or to register your team, head on over to the Official Tournament Page. Be sure to hurry though, as space is extremely limited.

CEVO has announced that registration has officially kicked off for its Call of Duty 4 Holiday Tournament. Registration officially opened Sunday and will continue through December 11th, with the first round matches beginning December 14th.
Teams will be competing for a prize purse of $1,500, however there are only limited team slots available (32) to the first teams that are fully registered, so get your team signed up quick! For more information check out the Official Tournament Page.
As a result of the recent downtime, we have decided to switch hosting companies and will be moving to a new server this afternoon. Alienware has announced its Bigfoot Killer Edge Challenge tournament, which will kick off after the new year. The Team Fortress 2 tournament will feature a $1,500 cash prize pool, along with a set of Killer Xeno Pro Gaming Network Cards for the champions.

Tournament Information: The Thanksgiving Day Melee will run from November 27th – 29th over the Thanksgiving Day weekend. This event is team based, 6v6, and teams will battle on control point maps only. Registration will begin November 5th, and will continue through November 20th, however spaces is very limited so register early in order to reserve your spot. You must have a registered team here at The Clan Database in order to register and participate in this event.
Cevo has announced that registration for their Counter-Strike: Source league has officially opened. Season 9 play will kick off September 24th, with players competing for over $10,000 in cash and prizes. There is a $20 USD per player registration fee for the main and pro divisions, but for the main event registration is $10 per player.
Registration for Season 9 will remain open until October 9th, and for more information head on over to the Official Season 9 Event Page. 
IVG has announced they will be holding an online 4v4 Team Fortress 2 tournament next month. The tournament will run from October 3rd - 20th, although no prizes were officially announced. Space is limited to 8 teams however, so if you are interested in competing be sure to get your registration in soon.

Any competitive gamer who plays Valve games understands the difficulties which can arise when trying to record a game play demo. However, Valve's Robin Walker has announced that the Team Fortress 2 development team is taking on the problem and is currently working on all new demo format to make recording much easier.
No word yet on when the format will be released, but keep an eye on the Official Team Fortress 2 blog for more information.

Registration for the tournament opens Thursday, January 7th and will close as soon as 32 teams are fully paid. This tournament will last two weeks starting on Tuesday, February 16th and ending with the finals on Wednesday, Februrary 24th. Teams are to make sure they can make the listed schedule before signing up. There will be no extensions during this tournament and no refunds once matches begin. Teams are encouraged to have at least six members on their roster and are recommended to have an extra seventh backup player since the schedule is rushed."
