Dell’s high-performance PC brand Alienware is hosting an online 5v5 CoD4 tournament for Aussies between March 8 and April 8. It’ll be a head-to-head test of skills and strategy as teams of five face off for a place in the tournament final, where they’ll fight for the title of best PC gaming clan in the country, custom-built Alienware dream machines, and at least a year’s worth of bragging rights. The top eight clans will battle it out in the live grand final to be held in Sydney on April 17, and the clan that wins the war takes home five (one for each teammate) Alienware prize packages valued at $5800 each.

As a result of the recent downtime, we have decided to switch hosting companies and will be moving to a new server this afternoon. We do expect to have a limited amount of downtime while the transfer is completed, however we do not anticipate any user accounts or data to be lost. We hope to have the transfer completed by early tomorrow afternoon.
Please note that during downtime, no staff or support emails will be received. Just hang on, and we will get back to you once we have everything back online.

TeamWarfare.com has a long history of support the Battlefield competitive community and Bad Company 2 will be no exception. This announcement is to let you all know that we plan on supporting this game fully and to inform you of what exactly we have planned for soon after release, and for near future competition.
Soon after release:
Conquest Tournament:
This will be standard Battlefield conquest format. The signups for the tournament will be opening on March 2, with the tournament kicking off within the first 2 weeks (Exact Date TBD). The number of slots for this tournament has yet to be decided, but it will likely be 64 teams. The team sizes will also be determined once the game has come out, as we are unaware if the standard 8v8 will suffice. We are looking at scheduling 2 matches per week so this first tourney doesn’t take too long to wrap up before the first season of league kicks off.
Conquest Ladder
This will be the standard BF Series Conquest Ladder. Rules, and such will be available shortly after release with the ladder opening within the first week. If you are unaware of the format, please refer to the BF2 Ladder Conquest ruleset, as it will give you a good idea of how it will run.
Conquest League
Again, rules will be similar to the BF2 Conquest ruleset. This is likely to be a six-week season. Followed by 3 week playoff series.
As for timing and dates we plan on opening league sign ups day of release for the conquest ladder. The exact rules, maps and match are to be decided on soon. We also plan on having league signups up as soon as the tournament is up and running. The league could start as early as 2-3 weeks after release depending on the activity and interest of the community.
RUSH Ladder
Being an entirely new format to the BF Series, we are going to delay this ladder for a little bit so we can fully understand how competition will work. We do plan on having competition in this format, and the admin staff will be working to have rules and structure in place as soon as possible.
Also being considered in the near future:
Rush League
Squad Rush Ladder & League
Squad Death match Ladders (If we can make the site backend support it)
Again, these are tentative plans based on what we know of the game so far. However our goal is to get you guys competing as soon as possible.
Since this is being put together for you, the players, naturally we are interested in hearing what you people would like to see from TWL. Please be specific and on topic.
We look forward to an exciting and competitive experience with you all!"
